Article 3. Rank Structure and Responsibilities

Ranks

Cohort/Pescado: Special rank assigned to alts.

Initiate: Initial rank for new raiders.

Member: Rank assigned to the main characters of social members (nonraiding/limited raiding). This rank declares to all that the character has proved their self to the guild, and understands the ways of Warcraftier.

Raider: These characters are distinguished members of the Warcraftier; they have displayed good sense, fostered a feeling of camaraderie, and contributed to the guild. They have likely been recognized time and time again for their efforts helping one another, and those of lower level. This is the first full-fledged raiding rank.

Veteran: As above, however this title includes a requirement for overseeing the guilds actions. One holding this rank is expected to act as an ambassador of good will to other guilds, and to serve the best interest of the GUILD at all times. They have shown exemplary good sense, as well as raiding capability. This rank allows the holder to sign up in locked spots for raids.

Officer: Guild servant. This rank is for the administrators of the guild, the people you go to when you are unhappy ;P. These are the ones that keep the website running, events popping, and the guild running smoothly. This rank allows the holder to sign up in locked spots for raids.

(co)Guild Master: The Warcraftiest of us all…

Figurehead: This is the guild bank. Send repair requests here.

To get promoted, you must do these things, and do them with integrity:

Give to others things you don't need (utilizing the Warcraftier bank (Wcraidbank))

Helping those below, or above you (quests, raids etc)

Bring consumables to raid, both for yourself and others

Make sure you are familiar with the basic strats for the raids you attend

Promotions (Rank Requirements)

Officers will be watching regularly for prospective promotions.

Member - Full member of the guild. Recommended for membership by at least one long-term member of Warcraftier.

Raider - Honored member. Has proven dedication in at least one of several ways: 1) Organizing 5 successful events (instance groups, raids, rp get togethers, etc.) 2) Doing helpful things in game. (crafting items for people, helping lower levels, etc.) 3) Coming prepared to raid every time they are signed up with excess consumables. Promotion to this rank is not limited to the above examples.

Veteran- Grizzled old fa.. I mean, venerated elder of the guild! This person has done everything that a raider has done and more. To attain this rank ALL officers must unanimously vote to grant it to the individual.

Officer- Duties of the officers are to monitor the WC forums, invite players into the initiate phase, guide the new members to our website and instruct them in the application process and make sure they are aware of not only our in game rules/guidelines, but also those set up in this charter. Officers also handle conflicts in game; however, if the conflict isn't a minor one they need to request that the issue be documented and sent as a PM on the website. This rank handles the banks, DKP, and all other administrivia.
