I just got a PM and an e-mail containing the below message. I checked the guild launch support forums, appears to be legit! Any one else receive a similar message?

I did and I know someone else did along with others I am sure. I would be careful because I never signed up for anything. It was guild portal that sent us it. I guess if you use that key and log in to Rift's actual website and go from there then I am sure you will be fine.

I am actually going to try this game out when it comes out. Looks decent and some of the reviews I read really liked it. So might be a fun alternate game on weekends to play some.

Guild Launch apparently has a boatload of Rift keys...and I am seeing adds now where you just go get a "VIP" beta key directly.

I guess they want a big group of beta peeps.

I am not going to play it, however...

...because Bo is.

Open beta starts on Feb. 15. Not expecting much, but I'll check it out.

It looks kind of interesting... but I just dont have the desire to play a different MMO, and especially a MMO that is basically vanilla WoW with more phasing and world PvP.

Diablo III on the other hand... you guys wont see me for at least a couple of months after it is released.

World PvP, so far, is largely dependent on what server you roll on. They have the same ones we do, PvP, PvE, and I think Rp-PvE/PvP. (At least from my observations).

As for the phasing, I cant say I've seen much of it unless I haven't hit high enough to notice a change.
